Class 9

Hi! I’m Miss Parry, most of you will already know me. I am new to Year 3 this year and I am very excited to start this journey with you all. Outside of school I love going for walks with my little boy and my dog Luna.

I look forward to seeing you all again in September.

Hi everyone, my name is Mrs Whem and I am really looking forward to teaching you next year. This will be my second year at Hartburn after many years teaching in other schools. I can’t wait to make lots of exciting memories with you! Outside of school I love spending time with my two children crafting, baking and having fun on the beach. See you all in September! 

Class 10

Hi everyone, my name is Miss Wildridge, you might remember me from when I was a teacher in KS1. This will be my second year in Year 3 however, some of you might not know this but I used to be a KS2 teacher at Harburn for many years. I love teaching Computing especially robotics and have lots of robot friends and kits for you to explore. At home I have lots of adventures with my little dog called Bella or ‘Boo Boo’ for short which I am looking forward to sharing with you. I can’t wait to see you all in September, when we can begin our fun – filled learning journey together.  

Class 11

Hello! I’m Miss Denton and I have been teaching at Hartburn Primary School for eight years. This will be my 4th year teaching in Year 3 and 4. My favourite lesson to teach is maths, especially fractions.  I am really excited to teach you as I know what a fantastic year group you are. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym, reading and anything Disney! I know the next year will be a year full of fun, adventures and new discoveries.

Hello! I’m Mrs Willox and I will be teaching English and maths in the mornings in Year 3.  I am looking forward to meeting you all and have great learning adventures! I love reading stories and poems and I am looking forward to sharing them with you. In my spare time I like to bake cakes, go for walks with my family and play golf. See you in September!

Hello, my name is Mrs Thurlwell and I am looking forward to being your Year 3 teaching assistant in September! I have 2 young children of my own, as well as my dog Frankie and my cat Jessie. I love arts and crafts, and spending time outdoors exploring and enjoying nature.
