Y3 Y4 Visit to Blue Reef

Y3 Y4 Visit to Blue Reef

Hartburn Primary School

As part of next term’s topic of ‘Blue Abyss’, we have arranged an exciting visit for all of Year 3 and 4 to visit the ‘Blue Reef Aquarium’ on Thursday 13th June 2019. The children will take part in science workshops ran by the aquarium, have a guided tour, watch the sea lion show and spend time on the beach.

We will be leaving school at 9:05 and return in the afternoon at 3:25pm. Your child will need to be provided with a packed lunch. They can also bring some money, up to £5, which needs to be brought into school in a named envelope, to spend in the gift shop.

The school has a duty to ensure the safety and health of those taking part in or exposed to its activities, so far as it is reasonably practicable to do so, therefore pupils whose behaviour falls below the standard to be reasonably expected, or their conduct compromises the safety and health of the group, individuals or themselves, can expect to be removed from the activity.

We are asking for a voluntary contribution of £11 per child to cover the cost of the trip. If insufficient contributions are received, the trip may have to be cancelled.
