We are delighted to have appointed this years Head Boy and Head Girl, along with their Deputies and Prefects. We consider the roles to be of great importance and want the chosen children to act as ambassadors for our school as well as role models for their peers and our younger pupils.

Year 6 children were asked to put themselves forward and have gone through a rigorous selection process involving pupils, staff and an informal interview with myself and Mrs Hawes, our Deputy Head.

I am pleased to announce the following appointments:

Emily Murphy – Head Girl

My name is Emily Murphy and I am really excited to be Hartburn’s new Head Girl.  I wanted to be head Girl to make my mark on the school because Hartburn is a brilliant place that has taught me so much.

I am a hard worker; I can empathise and I am willing to help.  I hope that these skills can help me contribute to the school.  I am very interested in the conservation of the natural world, and I hope to reduce the single use plastics consumed by the school during my time as Head Girl.

Autumn Burke – Deputy Head Girl

I wanted to be deputy head girl because I wanted to help the school and I wanted to help out in classrooms and on school trips.  I also wanted to help out with events for charity.  I want to get more children interested in sports and keeping themselves healthy.  I was delighted to be chosen as Deputy Head Girl
