To help our children gain a greater understanding of politics, KS2 have been participating in the run up to their own General Election. All parties were represented and have all had great campaigns delivering speeches, preparing campaign promotional videos and sharing their manifestos.
The vote took place on Wednesday and the correct procedures were followed before the votes were counted and verified.
The Hartburn Election ended in a tie of 91 votes to both the Conservatives and Labour. The protocol in this situation is to select a party by picking a name from a hat! Our Head Boy did the honour and the Conservatives were elected.
