Our Digital Leaders, the Racing Rebels, had a great day at Croft Circuit yesterday, racing their hand built electric car against 23 other schools.
Fourteen Tees Valley schools took the offer of a heavily subsidised opportunity to take possession of an electric racing car that they would build and then race around Croft and later Newcastle Quayside as part of the Great Exhibition of the North. They had two build days at Inspire2Learn and then completed the bodywork back in school before their first race trials yesterday.
Although they didn't win any time trials they did win Best Bodywork !
Miss Wildridge said the children had been a pleasure to spend the day with and their dedication and commitment did Hartburn proud. They are all looking forward to Newcastle next week!
