Following a positive response to the recent parent survey, we will be aiming to take the pupils on a residential in March 2024. This will at Robinwood Barhaugh Hall, Alston.
The provisional dates for this would be from Monday 4th March to Wednesday 6th March. Whilst at Robinwood, the children will take part in a variety of outdoor and adventurous activities which could include raft building, canoeing, caving, giant swing, archery, and zip wire – all with fully qualified staff and wearing appropriate safety helmets, harnesses, buoyancy aids etc. There will also be members of Hartburn staff who have kindly agreed to give up their own time to attend.
The cost of the visit including all activities, accommodation and meals will be £260. This is subsidised by our School fund. The initial deposit of £30 is required by Friday 15th July with another payment of £100 paid by Friday 9th September 2023. The final balance of £130 is to be paid by 20th February 2024. Alternatively, you may pay in full at any time up to 20th February 2024. Please complete the Google form below and pay the deposit via Parent Pay if you would like your child to attend:
We want to encourage all children to attend but the residential trip will only able to proceed if we have between 50 – 65 children. However, an alternative option will be considered if this is not met. In this circumstance, all deposits would be refunded.
