Y6 Visit to Ropner Park

We are delighted to let you know that, following the completion of the Year 6 SATs, the
children will be going to Ropner Park, on Friday 15th May, for a well-earned celebratory
visit. This will be a lovely opportunity for them to relax, enjoy some fresh air and spend
time together as a year group, after working so hard.
On Friday 15th May, the children can come to school wearing their PE kit. As we will be
walking to and from the park, please make sure they have suitable footwear for walking
comfortably.
The weather can be changeable, we kindly ask that children bring a sun hat and sun
cream on warm days, or a coat if the weather is cooler or unsettled.
As we will be out of school all day, the children will need to bring a packed lunch. Please
ensure that packed lunches do not contain any nuts. We also ask that children do not
bring fizzy drinks or glass bottles, for safety reasons.
We are very much looking forward to sharing this enjoyable outing with the children, and
we hope it will be a happy way to celebrate all their hard work.
